Emirates Nature is a UAE environmental non-governmental organization, established under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s representative in the Western Region and Chairman of Environmental Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD).

Emirates Nature works in association with WWF, one of the world’s largest and most respected independent conservation organizations. Emirates Nature-WWF has been active in the UAE since 2001 and has successfully initiated and implemented several conservation and education projects and initiatives in the region.

Emirates Nature-WWF works federally and in the region with offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Fujairah and is governed by a local board of directors.

Job summary

The Performance & Digital Marketing Officer will be responsible for delivering a performance marketing strategy, creating, and executing digital advertising campaigns across various platforms, including social media and Google and other platforms/technologies, to bring in donors for Emirates Nature – WWF. The ideal candidate will have experience in building tracking and reporting mechanisms, as well as a strong understanding of return on investment (ROI) metrics, customer acquisition and retention strategies.

The Performance & Digital Marketing Officer will play a critical role in driving donor acquisition for EN – WWF and will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the organization's mission. Proficiency in Salesforce and HubSpot is crucial to manage and organize partner and donor data effectively.

Major duties and Key Responsibilities

  • Creating and executing a strong performance marketing strategy & execution plan for effective lead & donor acquisition, fundraising initiatives, and retention plan.

  • Develop and implement digital advertising campaigns across various platforms to drive Partner & donor acquisition.

  • Ensuring successful planning, execution, optimization for key traffic KPIs via paid, organic & own media channels.

  • Manage PPC efforts on Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads and other platforms.

  • Allocate budgets and analyze and recommend modifications to ad spends.

  • Build tracking and reporting mechanisms to measure the success of campaigns, using Salesforce and HubSpot

  • Utilize ROI metrics to optimize campaigns and ensure they are cost-effective.

  • Identify opportunities to implement and then innovate campaigns.

  • Identify and develop channel opportunities with technology partners.

  • Own and execute performance marketing.

  • Own and execute affiliate marketing.

  •  Lead on optimizing landing pages and customer acquisition funnels.

  • Working cross-functionally with the product management, design, and marketing teams and Digital, to deliver data-driven growth initiatives.

  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in performance marketing.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and vendors to support campaign execution.

  • Utilize Salesforce and HubSpot to manage and organize donor data.

The ideal candidate for this role should be creative and innovative, well-organized. Ultimately, the exceptional Performance & Digital Marketing Officer should have a firm grasp of the different digital touch points, drive highly effective digital campaigns, social media management, enhance user experience, and deliver on digital objectives.

Major duties and Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and execute digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising
  • Coordinate specific online marketing campaigns across all digital channels
  • Accountable for delivering Emirates Nature Digital Campaigns, Earth Hour, Save 1/3, Target Climate and any other campaign that the Organization is launching during the year.
  • Managing Social media post creation, community management, support creation of social media calendar.
  • Supporting Comms in ensuring all digital communication is as per standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
  • Website Management, maintaining current websites and managing new creation of websites.
  • Coordinating content development for digital platforms and ensuring it is delivered on time and quality
  • CRM Management working to increase CRM capabilities for digital leads nurturing techniques.
  • Communicate on a regular basis to review performance of digital marketing campaigns and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Analytics and Reporting for all digital platforms, including managing and setting dashboards.
  • Responsible for the performance and up-time of the website.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital, Marketing, IT or relevant field

  • 3+ years of experience in performance marketing, with a focus on digital advertising

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

  • Proficient in the use of relevant digital applications and tools such as Hubspot or similar tool

  • Experience in project management and marketing campaigns/member communications

Skills required

  • Strong understanding of ROI metrics and ability to optimize campaigns based on data

  • Experience with tracking and reporting mechanisms, Salesforce and HubSpot and analytics tools.

  • Experience with social media and Google advertising platforms

  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns

  • Strong understanding of user experience best practices and trends

  • Knowledge of Content Management Systems.

  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and sales cycles, and sales/user funnels

  • Experience in CRM systems and practices

  • Knowledge in mobile APPs

  • Highly organized and motivated

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools

  • Strong presentation skills, writing and Communication skills

  • Required Languages: Arabic & English (both proficient)
