The consultant will support the delivery and coordination of key conservation priorities, primarily the Sustainable Farming & Agroecology programme. The role requires a proactive self-starter with strong organizational skills and experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder projects. In addition to the Sustainable Farming & Agroecology programme, the consultant may be called upon to support logistics and technical work around upcoming unit priorities such as the UN Water Conference.

The consultant will work closely with Head – Climate & Conservation and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution, effective stakeholder engagement, timely reporting, and strong administrative and logistical support, contributing to high-quality programme delivery in line with Emirates Nature–WWF’s Programme Delivery standards.

Programme Context

The Sustainable Farming and Agroecology Programme is enabling farmers to build adaptive and sustainable farming systems that respond to national priorities on community development and nature-positive growth. In delivering impact, Emirates Nature-WWF is working in partnership with – and with the support of – multiple public and private partners and stakeholders. The work under the Sustainable Farming and Agroecology Programme is built around four primary objectives:

Objective 01. Demonstrate and scale agroecology practices across model farms, building a replicable evidence base.
Objective 02. Build farmer capacity and foster traditional knowledge through hands-on workshops and field demonstrations.
Objective 03. Enhance biodiversity by planting native trees, monitoring recovery, and establishing pollinator habitats through beekeeping.
Objective 04. Enhance viability of small-scale farming through exploration of value chains for native crops and allied income streams such as agritourism.

Programme Coordination and Delivery Support:
•    Assist in coordinating and implementing day-to-day activities and key deliverables.
•    Support line manager on tracking delivery of critical priorities, including deliverables of external service providers
•    Collect, consolidate, and incorporate feedback and comments from internal and external stakeholders on selected deliverables as required.
•    Facilitate coordination among internal teams to ensure alignment during planning and delivery.
•    Lead/support as needed the development and delivery of programme reports and publications.

Stakeholder Support:
•    Support stakeholder mapping and engagement requirements.
•    Support on coordinating donor requirements as and when needed. 

Procurement, Administrative and Logistical Support:
•    Assist in drafting Terms of Reference (ToRs), Request for Proposals (RFPs), and related documentation.
•    Support logistics for meetings, workshops and events, and field visits.

Knowledge Sharing:
•    As needed, support general communications with internal EN-WWF teams, stakeholders and external partners.
•    Maintain records as per EN-WWF standards and requirements (e.g. use of Sharepoint)

•    Ideally 3-4 years of experience supporting projects/programmes in diverse fields.
•    Proven experience in multi-stakeholder coordination and community engagement.
•    Understanding of critical topics in nature conservation, climate and sustainable development is an asset.
•    Fluency in English (essential).
•    Fluency in Arabic (highly desirable).
